We have a number of sites across the UK and Ireland, as well as operations in France and the Netherlands.
We are now looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant based at our Head Office in Abingdon.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Fast and accurate processing of invoices
Investigation of any purchase order and invoice issues
Assisting in the preparation of payments
Reconciling supplier statements ensuring all items have been reconciled and issues investigated
Prompt and accurate filing of documents
Work with colleagues throughout the business to ensure problems are understood and resolved

Fast and accurate data entry skills
Able to work both alone and within a team
Able to work to strict deadlines
Ability to prioritise workload and work in an organised fashion
An excellent telephone manner and good communication skills
A knowledge of Navision
A basic knowledge of VAT
Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships internally and externally.

Experience of and comfortable working in a fast paced, flexible organisation.
Diplomatic but also assertive as required.
Able to prioritise, plan and organise efficiently and work with multiple conflicting priorities.
