We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Administrator to join our team in Oxford, working as part of a small, dedicated healthcare team and responsible of delivering excellent patient care.

Job role summary
Provide specialist administration to support users of the Prosthetic service;
Provide front line service in a healthcare environment acting as the first contact point in arranging patient appointments/referrals and responding to enquiries from internal and external parties;
Liaise with clients and suppliers as required to arrange/chase orders, deliveries, collections and maintenance visits, as well as check goods in and prepare accordingly for clinics;
Ensure appropriate communication is maintained with service users, carers and professionals by telephone and email, taking into account communication difficulties and needs of the client group;
Co-ordinate the works of Clinical staff to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved and support services are arranged as needed. This includes management of diaries and provision of detailed daily worksheets where required;
Work as a team member to provide a shared approach to tasks within the department, providing cover for other support staff during periods of sickness and annual leave;
Input data of orders and referrals into our dedicated information databases and the local NHS Trust information databases

What experience you will need:
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Confident in using computers (additional training will be provided for our systems);
Microsoft excel and word experience;
Able to use own initiative and seek advice when required;
Good team player and excellent customer service skills
