Ortho Europe is now looking to recruit an Assembly Technician to join our team in Abingdon.

Job Summary:
The role advertised is for an Assembly Technician to work within a small, specialised team who assemble and manufacture prosthetic joints and componentry.

Tasks/responsibilities will include:

• Picking required componentry from stores using production order BOMs
• Notifying Production Manager of delays in the manufacturing process
• Technical responsibility for the physical conversion of components to final product built within constraints of economy, quality, and quantity against specified time scales
• Monitor quality and engage in fault detection and fault prevention
• Ensure all work order documentation is accurately completed and accompanies the product through the production cycle
• Adhere to Health and Safety and Quality standards at all times
• Maintain a safe clean working environment
• Passing completed products to stores and updating stock levels
• Previous experience working in assembly would be advantageous but is not essential as full in-house training is provided.
