Job Summary:
The role holder has management responsibility for overseeing the running of the orthotic clinical team on site in Exeter, as well as assessing and treating a complex range of patients, based on current best practice.
You will manage the orthotic clinical team effectively, ensuring the service is running smoothly and efficiently whilst meeting all timescales along with clinical, operational and financial expectations set. You will also work closely with the administration teams, technical staff and management in order to achieve an efficient service.
The successful applicant would have access to excellent technology in brand new facilities, designed to deliver services, including on site orthotic workshop with technical team.
The orthotic service is wide ranging and includes interaction with MDTs across the Royal Devon and Exeter Trust and associated regional clinics.
The successful applicant would have the support of onsite service manager (clinician), technical, facilities and admin management. In addition, as the largest provider of combined orthotic and prosthetic services in the UK, you would be a lead member of a national team of over 180 clinicians.
This role would suit an experienced orthotist looking to take on more responsibility with managerial support.
Required Qualifications:
