      Head of Private Clinic

      Job Summary:
      We are looking for an experienced Prosthetist with a robust understanding and keen interest in commercial sales. The role will include building relationships with customers & key account management, working alongside embassies and international private customers travelling to the UK, developing new routes to market including insurance companies and the medico-legal industry, market analysis, strategic & business development planning, analysing and monitoring sales, increasing sales and profit margin, managing enquiries and appointments, managing & motivating a small team and supporting marketing activities & events.

      Location: Flexible – UK wide

      Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

      • Manage enquires and organise appointments received to the Private Clinic, including working with embassies, international private customers travelling to the UK, insurance companies and the medico-legal industry
      • Produce comprehensive medico-legal reports for insurance companies
      • Manage, motivate and coach a small team
      • Strategic and business development planning, including sales forecasting, data analysis, improving overall sales and profit performance, providing relevant reports and recommendations for action
      • Work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure we are maximising opportunities across all our home and export markets
      • Maintain a customer database on our CRM, ensuring customers are effectively managed and tracked and receive a consistently high level of customer service
      • Assist senior management with market research, ROI, customer experience, promotional plans and any other private customer-related initiative
      • Assess market/industry competition with ongoing competitor analysis and research. Keep up to date with industry trends
      • Develop relationships with key accounts, internal and external
      • Develop comprehensive knowledge of own and competing products, and be aware of new developments in the market
      • Maintain a robust sales cycle, including quotations, contracts and payments, ensuring pricing is in line with company expectations on margin and patient fairness

      • Experience as a Prosthetist is a mandatory requirement
      • Experience within a commercial environment desirable

      Qualifications:
      Qualified Prosthetist with at least 3 years clinical experience.
