      Delivery and Collection Driver

      The role holder supports the Opcare team in our Staffordshire Wheelchair Service.

      Delivering the highest standards of service support to Opcare clients, including delivery and collection of clients wheelchairs and associated accessories, also responsible for ensuring service administration requirements are up to date and maintained at all times.

      Purpose of the job

      • Fulfil delivery and collection requirements for the Staffordshire Wheelchair service in alignment with company business objectives and promote company values and behaviours.
      • Represent Opcare service delivery team when attending client’s homes.
      • Ensure Opcare clients receive the highest quality service

      Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

      • Attend delivery and collection service jobs as assigned on a daily basis
      • Carry out – standard setup on service user wheelchairs to meet patient requirements
      • Preparing the following days Field Service Engineer, and Delivery and Collection job runs
      • Support the Warehouse and Administration Team within the centre when required.
      • Liaise with the Service Administration team to ensure that patient records are correctly update on a daily basis
      • Manage and maintain their company vehicle in accordance with the Opcare Drivers Handbook.
      • Demonstrate a positive can do attitude with a mind-set of continuous improvement
      • Demonstrate a strong work ethic

      Skills & Personal Attributes:

      Essential:

      • Good understanding of English- written and verbal
      • UK of Equivalent Drivers License
      • Experience working within a field based service delivery role
      • Background in delivering excellent customer service
      • Good organisational skills
      • Effective working within a team
      • Willingness to learn new processes
      • Flexible and helpful attitude
      • Take responsibility for own workload
      • Physically fit to meet demands of job

      Desirable:

      • Wheelchair service experience
      • Experience working with people with disabilities
