To ensure daily orders are packed and dispatched in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure the correct courier services are used and costs cross charged.
Assist with goods in.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
To ensure all goods out are correctly processed on the in house system.
Ensure all required documentation is filled in correctly and is accurate.
Use the courier system to raise all necessary documentation selecting the most cost effective service and ensuring courier charges are passed on where agreed.
To ensure that goods are packed so that potential damage is minimised.
To ensure that products are dispatched within the timelines as set out by the customer.
To highlight any potential delays to the Line Manger and where possible endeavor to resolve issues with relevant section.
To liaise with customer service regarding any queries, complaints, returns and potential delays.
Proactively check all orders on consignments are located each day.
To assist with Goods In when required.
Demonstrate a positive can do attitude with a mind-set of continuous improvement.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Qualifications and/or Skills
Working within a warehouse environment.
Picking, packing and dispatching of goods.
Stock management including use of IT systems.
Good organisational skills.
Good written and verbal.
A sound working knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
