      Due to expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an Operational Administrator – Purchasing/Warehouse at our Wheelchair Services Centre in Leicester (Scudamore Road).

      Purpose of the job

      • Operational administration of the centralised wheelchair services purchasing and warehouse functions for Ability Matters Group in alignment with company business objectives and promote company values and behaviours.
      • Operational administration of all centralised wheelchair stock movement and inventory holdings within the designated warehouse areas of the facility. Ensure all products are picked and available for shipment in a timely and accurate manner.
      • Procurement of Ability Matters Group/Ortho Europe stock inventory to agreed central stock holding levels to a quality assured standard, to fulfil Opcare Wheelchair Services contract requirements
      • Procurement of Opcare Wheelchair Service prescriptive products as per contract requirements through Ability Matters Group/Ortho Europe central procurement procedures to a quality assured standard
      • Engage with Ability Matters Group/Ortho Europe preferred vendors to ensure supplier lead times are accurately documented/communicated and effectively managed.
      • Maintenance of Ability Matters Group (Opcare/Ortho Europe) Wheelchair Services catalogue, including management of all component requests.

      Responsibilities & Tasks

      • Administration of all procurement of all product for Ability Matters Group/Ortho Europe and Opcare Wheelchair Services
      • Goods inwards/outwards for all purchased product for Ability Matters Group/Ortho Europe and Opcare Wheelchair Services
      • Stock Inventory management for central wheelchair service stock holding.
      • Management of Wheelchair component request processes
      • Goods inwards, accurately check and record all deliveries checking against PO and quality checks are completed as required. Ensure all new stock items are correctly labelling and located in the designated warehouse is in place. Re-organising a changing location of stock accordingly.
      • Daily stock inventory management and replenishment procedures are effectively followed to ensure agreed stock levels are maintained at all times. Ensure weekly lane checks are carried out and recorded. Prepare for and carry out annual stock take
      • Goods outwards, allocate, pick, prepare and progress component items for job specifications and prepare for dispatch to Opcare Wheelchair centres
      • Demonstrate a positive can do attitude with a mind-set of continuous improvement
      • Demonstrate a strong work ethic

      Person Specification:

      • Experience in a Warehouse/procurement administration role within a Wheelchair Service or Wheelchair Service Approved repairer or similar technical operational environment
      • Experience working within a warehouse environment
      • Picking, packing and dispatching of goods.
