Operations Manager – Opcare

      We aim to deliver a first class service for users whilst applying the most advanced and exciting clinical and technical solutions available to patients. We have an opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our team based at the Barwell Industrial Estate, Chessington.

      The Role 

      To plan and manage the running of assigned Opcare centre’s Wheelchair operations to ensure that they achieve strategic goals, KPIs and they operate within financial budgets & targets.


      • Responsible for the management of the Opcare Wheelchair operations within assigned centres to ensure that they achieve strategic goals, KPIs and operates within financial budgets and set targets
      • Review financial information and operational budgets to promote profitability
      • Evaluate regularly the operational productivity & efficiencies to drive continuous improvements and drive down waste and complaints
      • Deliver a service which scores high on customer satisfactory surveys
      • Manage a range of different staff groups including Clinical, Technical, Service & Admin across a number of different locations and schedule them to meet the business requirements
      • Ensure that the operations comply with legal requirements and conform to established regulations & guidelines
      • Work within procedures for recruitment and employee evaluations, development and promotion
      • Develop and maintain a workforce plan which ensures that the business has the right levels of flexible, coverage, multi-skilled and experienced staff to meet the business requirements at present and for the foreseeable future

      • Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
      • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
      • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.


      • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as Manager or equivalent position ideally in Wheelchair Operations service delivery organisation
      • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Operations and ideally in a Wheelchair service delivery organisation
      • Experience in a Customer facing role

      The role holder will be subject to a DBS check prior to commencing employment which must satisfy company standards.
