Orthotics Service Manager

      This position will be located in our facility in Leicester, which brings together our Prosthetic, Wheelchair and Orthotic contracts. The facility integrates full clinical services with on-site manufacturing and maintenance for Prosthetics, Orthotics and Wheelchairs.

      THE ROLE:
      Reporting directly into the Operations Manager, this is a great opportunity for the chosen candidate to lead a team of Seven Orthotic Administrators to deliver an outstanding service to our patients. Duties include:

      • Managing the operation of the Orthotics Administrative Department
      • Leading a team of seven Administrators managing the patient experience from referral to discharge and on-going care
      • Delivering excellence in patient and customer care
      • Continuously improving our service
      • Delivering the Group’s strategy in the centre, ensuring a sound operational & financial basis both for the present and also for future growth.
      • Building excellent relationships between Opcare and our CCG and local NHS Trust colleagues and patients in Leicestershire
      • Meeting the objectives and KPI’s of the Orthotic contract in Leicestershire
      • Utilising and analysing data to improve overall performance for the Centre
      • Ensuring that the Group maintains compliance with all statutory standards.
      • Monitoring operational, financial & budgetary issues, including involvement in the responsibility for the local P&L

      We are looking for a strong leader who is:

      • An experienced manager ideally but not essentially within a Healthcare environment

      The role holder will be subject to an advanced DBS check prior to commencing employment which must satisfy company standards.
