Planning Coordinator Ortho Europe – Abingdon

      About us and the role

      Ortho-Europe is an innovator in the field of rehabilitation products and services and we currently employ 300+ employees across 12 locations in the UK and Ireland. Due to expansion we are now looking to recruit a Planning Coordinator to work in our Customer Support team. We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years’ experience in a customer service or administration role but full training will be given.

      Duties and Tasks to include:

      • Process new customer orders on our in-house system
      • Deal with order queries and delivery enquiries from customers by phone and email
      • Pan the manufacturing to ensure deliveries to customers are made on time and to defined production capacities
      • To work with production team leader to progress chase orders through the factory
      • To ensure all orders are shipped on the correct date to customers
      • To inform customers of any delays in deliveries
      • To attend the daily planning meeting
      • Have an excellent telephone manner and attention to detail
      • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to work on own initiative
      • A good level of computer literacy to train on the in-house system

      This is an exciting and challenging role for proactive individuals who are experienced in working in a fast moving manufacturing environment. The nature of the role is varied and can be fast paced so the successful candidates will maintain high standards when working to varying deadlines and specifications.
