Ability Matters Group Ireland is seeking to recruit Prosthetists, Orthotists and dual practising Prosthetist/Orthotists to work in Dublin and several Clinics throughout Ireland. Over the last number of years our service needs have grown and we continue to expand clinics countrywide.
Ability Matters Ireland is the Strategic Partner with the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH), Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin providing Prosthetic and Orthotic clinical services to inpatients and outpatients for over 10 years. The NRH is the only consultant-led interdisciplinary rehabilitation service provided in Ireland and we at Ability Matters are proud to provide this service under the National Service Level Agreement. Together we operate in a safe, multidisciplinary team environment with patients referred by their consultant or general practitioner in collaboration with rehabilitation consultants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, specialist nurses, prosthetists and orthotists based on the patient’s clinical need and best outcome measures.
Additionally, we offer private assessments and reviews to patients referred by external healthcare organisations, private hospitals, Consultants and GPs to our services.
The successful applicants will join enthusiastic and experienced teams providing both inpatient and outpatient services to a range of patients, some of which have complex clinical needs. Our aim is to provide the best outcomes for patients.
This position provides an ideal setting for enthusiastic Clinicians with a vision to develop their career, clinical expertise and interests in many areas of prosthetic and orthotic care. The successful applicant will need to be capable of practising as part of a team as well as independently, and have a focus on continual service improvement.
