Regional Clinical Lead Prosthetics & Orthotics

      Due to expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Clinical Lead across the Midlands Region, which include services based at Leicester, Coventry and Staffordshire (orthotics). This role will be a new initiative to recognise the continued growth of the business and to bring together collective ways of working across clinical services.

      Ideally we are looking for an experienced Prosthetist/Orthotist who must be HCPC registered.

      This is a full time position and you will be part of a national team of senior clinicians reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Services. The successful applicant will take a lead role in the development and delivery of an efficient and high quality services for patients within the region.

      Key elements of this rewarding job role include:

      • Coordinating clinical governance activities in line with company objectives and direction.
      • Providing a dotted line support to local centre clinical leads to ensure that local clinical practice is in line with company values and objectives.
      • Reporting on clinical activities within the region including the identification, analysis and resolution of any clinical service delivery issues.
      • ‘Leading by example’ and ensuring the team is engaged with the objectives/change processes required by the business.
      • Ensuring the team continuously improves and radiates a ‘can do attitude’
      • Working clinically in a designated Opcare centre and directly support clinical teams with the region
      • Running coordinated regional training sessions
      • Chairing regional clinical meetings
      • Working with the Development and Training leads to ensure that skills gaps are identified and effective training is implemented to provide the level of service required at each clinical unit.
      • Acting as a point of escalation to assess clients / patients in conjunction with Physiotherapists, NHS Consultants, Doctors and other members of the interdisciplinary team as appropriate. To then work with local clinical lead to develop a management plan. Supported by other regional and national leads.
      • Representing the best interests of the company in the clinical service delivery.
