      Senior Business Intelligence Analyst/Developer

      The Ability Matters Group (AMG) is a market leading international healthcare products and services provider, operating primarily in areas that enhance mobility and accessibility including orthotics, prosthetics and wheelchairs. We have in excess of 60 sites across the UK and Ireland, as well as operations in France, The Netherlands and Sweden; employing approximately 700+ staff.

      Job Summary:

      The successful applicant will support all aspects of centralised data analysis activity within the Ability Matters Group (AMG).

      This involves assisting the development, implementation and execution of the Group’s data analysis strategy, monitoring and responding to data requests and submission of completed reports/dashboards to the highest quality.

      Location: Role is primarily home based, however regular travel to Ability House, Abingdon should be expected.

      Key responsibilities and tasks:

      • Create and update reports and dashboards to measure performance across the Group in Power BI, Excel and other formats where appropriate.
      • Assist in the delivery of the Group’s data analysis strategy.
      • Have an excellent appreciation of the data requirements of the Group and availability of reports and systems to fulfil these.
      • Support the overall use of data across the Group to broaden efficient, detailed analysis.
      • Produce templates, macros etc. to automate the collection and processing of data.
      • Monitor incoming data requests and take primary responsibility for initial ownership, identifying what work will be required and escalating for larger projects if necessary.
      • Ensure all data requests are completed in line with internal or external requirements, and submitted to appropriate deadlines.
      • Ensure that the Group maintains compliance with related statutory standards.

      • Advanced skills in Power BI & Excel skills, able to utilise data to build in depth reports which support the financial and operational management of the business.
      • Ability to read and interpret instructions carefully, responding accordingly with data presented in an appropriate, user-friendly way.

      • Analytical skills to identify data trends and challenges.
      • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.

      Qualifications & Experience

      • Power BI – 3 years advanced development experience
      • Excel – 3 years advanced development experience
      • Reporting Analysts – 3 years’ experience
      • 2:1 degree desirable
