Job Summary:
To organise production according to demand and quality standards. Ensuring our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner
To produce the daily production plan and ensure all departments planned to capacity. To co-ordinate the flow of work between production departments or processes. Ensuring all products are at the correct manufacturing stage the process within the desired lead time
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products
Coordinating the workflow across multiple manufacturing sites
Manage and use of Ortho Europe’s ‘TRAM’ planning system
Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand

Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
Schedule shift according to production needs
Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
Prepare and submit status and performance reports
Required skills/ attributes:
Essential:
1 years’ experience as production planner in a FMCG environment
Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
Experience in ERP or MRP systems
Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
Good at math and statistics
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
Strong regard for product quality and safety standards
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Meticulous and diligent
Able to sit, stand and move around for long hours at a time
A mind-set attuned to continuous improvement
Desirable:
Experience working within the medical devices field with ISO13485 accreditation
