      Senior Planner

      Job Summary:

      • To organise production according to demand and quality standards. Ensuring our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner
      • To produce the daily production plan and ensure all departments planned to capacity. To co-ordinate the flow of work between production departments or processes. Ensuring all products are at the correct manufacturing stage the process within the desired lead time

      Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

      • Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products
      • Coordinating the workflow across multiple manufacturing sites
      • Manage and use of Ortho Europe’s ‘TRAM’ planning system
      • Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
      • Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand

      • Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
      • Schedule shift according to production needs
      • Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
      • Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
      • Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
      • Prepare and submit status and performance reports

      Required skills/ attributes:
      Essential:

      • 1 years’ experience as production planner in a FMCG environment
      • Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
      • Experience in ERP or MRP systems
      • Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
      • Good at math and statistics
      • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
      • Excellent communication abilities
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
      • Strong regard for product quality and safety standards
      • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Meticulous and diligent
      • Able to sit, stand and move around for long hours at a time
      • A mind-set attuned to continuous improvement

      Desirable:

      • Experience working within the medical devices field with ISO13485 accreditation
