Our team at Ortho Europe are currently looking for a warehouse operative to join our experienced team in Abingdon. Ortho Europe is a leading manufacturer and distributor of prosthetic, orthotic and seating products. In this role you will play a key part in making a real difference in a patience’s life every day.

Job Summary:

To assist with the day to day running of the warehouse to ensure KPI’s are met as well as maintaining our standard of service. Accuracy of individual work is paramount to deliver top tier service to our patients daily.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Handling, Inspecting and receipting deliveries
• Updating receipts on a computer-based system
• Handling Returned Goods
• Picking customer orders
• Packing and dispatching national and international customer orders
• Stock taking
• Ensure all documentation is accurately completed
• Works within the company quality system
• Assist with any other work in the warehouse as required.

Skills/ attributes:

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to use own initiative and seek advice when required.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Positive and helpful attitude at all times.
• Good team player
• Competent IT skills
• Good organisational skills.
• Self-motivated.

Warehouse experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given.
