Our company is now looking to recruit a Clinical and Technical Administrator based at our Specialist Mobility Centre, Leicester.

      The successful candidate would be responsible for the following key tasks:

      • To provide specialist administration to support users of the service i.e. coordinating new service calls efficiently and accurately, logging equipment selection, preparing documentation for clinics/visits, maintaining and archiving of files;
      • To provide front line service acting as the first contact point in arranging patient appointments/referrals and responding to enquiries from internal and external parties;
      • To liaise with clients and suppliers as required to arrange/chase orders, deliveries, collections and maintenance visits, as well as check goods in and prepare accordingly for clinics;
      • To ensure appropriate communication is maintained with service users, carers and professionals by telephone and email, taking into account communication difficulties and needs of the client group;
      • To co-ordinate the works of the Field Engineers and Clinical staff to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved and support services are arranged as needed. This includes management of diaries and provision of detailed daily worksheets where required;
      • To work as a team member to provide a shared approach to tasks within the department, providing cover for other support staff during periods of sickness and annual leave.
      • Data Inputting of orders and referrals into our dedicated Information databases

      This post will require the successful applicant to have had previous experience in an administration role, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills are imperative, as is the ability to manage changing priorities effectively on a daily basis. The right candidate will show initiative and have the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
