Clinical Service Delivery Manager – Exeter

      This newly created position will be located in our state of the art brand new facility in Exeter, which brings together our Prosthetic and Orthotic contracts. The facility integrates full clinical services with on-site manufacturing and maintenance for both Prosthetics and Orthotics. The NHS Wheelchair Service, managed by the NHS, will also be located in the new facility.

      The Role:

      Reporting directly into the Board, this is a great opportunity for the chosen candidate to lead a large team of Clinicians, Technicians and Administrators in our latest purpose built centre in Exeter:

      • Manage the operation of the centre including the Prosthetic and Orthotic Services, supported by a Prosthetic Service Manager
      • Lead a team of Clinicians managing the patient experience from referral to discharge and on-going care
      • Deliver excellence in patient and customer care
      • Continuously improve our service
      • Deliver the Group’s strategy in the centre, ensuring a sound operational & financial basis both for the present and also for future growth.
      • Build excellent relationships between Opcare and our NHS colleagues and patients in Exeter.
      • Meet the objectives and KPI’s of the contracts and Opcare in Exeter.
      • Utilise and analyse data to improve overall performance for the Centre.
      • Ensure that the Group maintains compliance with all statutory standards.
      • Monitor operational, financial & budgetary issues, including the local P&L.


      We are looking for a strong leader who is:

      • An experienced manager ideally but not essentially within a Healthcare environment
      • The position would also suit an experienced Lead Orthotist/Prosthetist looking for the next big step in their career

      The role holder will be subject to a DBS check prior to commencing employment which must satisfy company standards.
