      Wheelchair Service Engineer

      We have an exciting opportunity for a Wheelchair Service Engineer to join our team in Leicester

      Job role summary:

      The main responsibility of this post is to repair, prepare, assemble and deliver wheelchairs a quality assured standard, reconditioned and built to specification manual.   The role holder is also responsible for the decontamination processes including recycling and scrapping.

      What experience you will need:

      Essential

      • Mechanical or Technical background
      • The ability to refurb as per specification to a quality assured standard.
      • A good working knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

      Desirable

      • Technical or Mechanical engineering qualification, educational or vocational
      • Technical background within a Wheelchair Service or Wheelchair Service Approved repairer
      • Experience of working with wheelchair product ranges
      • Understanding of wheelchair mechanics and technical specifications
