We have an exciting opportunity for a Wheelchair Technician to join our team in Leicester

Job role summary:

The main responsibility of this post is to carry out the decontamination processes and recycling any reusable parts from wheelchairs considered to be beyond economical repair. The role also includes identifying and listing of these salvaged parts ready for the workshop to use. There will also be some paint spraying to be carried out when preparing the parts for re-use.

What experience you will need:

Essential

• Mechanical or Technical background
• A good working knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

Desirable

• Technical or Mechanical engineering qualification, educational or vocational
• Experience of working with wheelchair product ranges
• Understanding of wheelchair mechanics and technical specifications
